MEET THE CZIMSKEYS

Mike grew up in Round Rock, Texas, where he graduated from Round Rock High School in 1999. He attained his Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he led the team that built UTSA's first large scale tensile fabric structure at the entrance of the College of Architecture building.
While in college, Mike also spent a summer in the Sierra Madre Mountains of Chihuahua, Mexico, where he helped erect an adobe boarding school that incorporated all aspects of green design such as passive solar and thermal storage walls.
Mike has completed freelance work with Austin based architecture firms, Moman Architects and Spencer Godfrey Architects, and honed his construction and carpentry skills working for Case Construction and HUB Design + Field Services.
Most recently, as a Designer and Project Manager for TXCO Partners, he designed and produced computer renderings of commercial furnishings for businesses and restaurants, as well as oversaw take-offs and installation.
An active member of the Schulenburg Volunteer Fire Department since 2011, Mike enjoys helping and giving back to the Schulenburg community.

Holly is a Schulenburg native who graduated from Schulenburg High in 1999. After attending the University of Texas Red McComb's School of Business in Austin for 2 years, she graduated from the University of North Texas in Denton with a Bachelor of Science degree in Home Furnishings Merchandising with minors in business and art.
While pursuing her degree, Holly worked as a Design Assistant for the Kitchen Source, a Dallas-based kitchen and bath design firm and at Sherwin Williams Company as a Decorative Product Specialist teaching faux finish techniques and color theory classes to both homeowners and professionals.
For 9 years, she worked alongside the owner of a paint and remodeling company, learning everything from HR to customer service to sales. With her education and experience, she is a whiz at color selection for projects, assisting in kitchen and bath design, dabbles in graphic design, and still enjoys the intricacies of handling the administrative side of the business.
Holly is active in her community serving as Board Treasurer for the Shorthorns Forever Association, President of the SVFD Ladies Auxiliary and volunteers with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Champion Valley.
Mike and Holly met in 2006, fell in love in 2012, married in 2014, and the rest, as they say, is history. The couple purchased a new (old) fixer-upper on 2 acres just outside of Schulenburg and have a laundry list of projects to fill their time. They share this space with their son, Graylen, dogs, Toby, Charlie and Maggie, and cat, Blue. The Czimskeys are passionate about art, music, and design and can't wait to have the opportunity to share that with you!
